Hundreds
of Jet Engine Test Cells designed, manufactured, and installed
by IAC are in service around the world at military and commercial
facilities. They have been supplied in demountable form and
as permanent installations and are suitable for thrust stands
that are either trailer or overhead-mounted. Designed for long
service life, these air-cooled test cells satisfy stringent
acoustical requirements without adverse effects on engine performance.
The IAC Aerotronic Test Cell can be furnished in turnkey execution
complete with ADAPS (automatic data acquisition and processing
system).
Typically,
an IAC Aerotronic Jet Engine Test Facility includes the following
noise-control elements: primary and secondary inlet silencers,
augmenter tube, exhaust silencer, blast defector or diffusers,
and sound-absorptive liner panels for a concrete test cell.
Alternatively,
test cells can be furnished in modular demountable form, utilizing
Noise-Lock® sound absorptive panels, doors and other components.
All noise-control components are acoustically rated and certified.
IAC fabricates all noise-control structures in its own plants,
thereby ensuring the highest quality control standards demanded
for military and commercial aircraft/engine ground support equipment.
IAC's experience
in test cell design, manufacture, and project management encompasses
turnkey responsibility including: Noise Control, Engine Test
Stand, Test Instrumentation and Controls, Data Acquisition,
